America is not a democracy and never has been. No, America is a republic, despite what the media and politicians try to convince you of. They know better, but they are often very reckless with the truth.
So, you ask, what’s the difference?
A democracy is a government of men, but a republic is a government of laws. In a democracy, the law is whatever the majority wants, but in a republic, the law is established for everyone at every time. We often hear the Latin term, “Lex Rex” meaning law is king.
If America was a democracy, the Civil Rights Act would have never been passed. Yet, it was passed because in a republic we send representatives to the seat of government to determine, with the input of the voters, the direction of our nation. They then create laws based on voter's wishes.
If there is enough disagreement among the voters about the laws, we can always vote for new representatives to change those laws. As you can see, there is always pressure on our representatives to satisfy the voters, yet they still have free will to do what they feel is best.
We also have the judicial system that decides whether the laws lie within the framework of our Constitution. This is part of the checks and balances put in place by our founding fathers.
I agree that it’s a little messy, but it has worked well for almost 250 years.
For our republic to function, voters must have the assurance that justice will be truly blind. Those with power and prestige must live with the same laws as the most desperate pauper. There can be no favoritism in the enforcement of our laws. Our laws are for everyone.
Well, that doesn’t seem to work so well anymore, does it? If it did, Hunter, Joe, and Jim Biden would be in prison today. But maybe I will discuss that another day, as I must move on now.
To ensure that our laws are for everyone, voters must have a guarantee of free and fair elections. We must have assurance that those representing us are chosen by us. Let’s look at an example of that not working well.
For 24 years (1979-2003) Saddam Hussein was the “president” of Iraq. At the same time, he was considered to be a brutal dictator. Some human rights advocates estimate he was responsible for the death of over 250,000 of his own people.
Interestingly, Saddam had a 100% turnout in his elections, and more interestingly, 100% of the Iraqis voted for Saddam.
Now, reasonable people, like you and I can see that is not a very likely scenario. Certainly, some people would have failed to vote, and some people would not have voted for Saddam, but that is what they said. Don’t you just hate fraudulent elections?
Further, we never heard many complaints from the voters asking, perhaps for a recount or suggesting something improper had transpired. Oh no, under the rule of a powerful and ruthless dictator, voters knew the score and determined that it would be unwise to complain.
Freedom lovers around the world understood Saddam’s form of tyranny. They had seen it all too often around the world. Stealing elections, putting those who complained or protested in prison, and that type of thing is usually seen in backward, banana republic countries.
That type of dirty electioneering would never be tolerated in a free country. No sir, in America that would never be tolerated . . . but it was.
Tell me it's not so. I wish I could. Let’s look at a few questions
Q – Wouldn’t the press do some real journalism and reveal the corruption?
A – No, in our 2020 election the press actively covered up for the Bidens, refusing to report on their bribery and other corruption. The press withheld information from the public which might be detrimental to Biden, but repeatedly spread false allegations about Trump.
Q – Wouldn’t the courts intervene and demand change?
A – No, Gateway Pundit reported on January 24, 2021, that of 81 election cases, 30 were still active. Of the 51 cases that made it to court, not once was evidence allowed to be argued. The cases were dismissed on procedural grounds, not based on fact. Our 2020 election was never adjudicated.
Q – Wouldn’t the FBI search out those who blatantly violated election law?
A – As reported on WND, the FBI was involved in the election interference, you certainly don’t expect them to investigate themselves.
Q – Wouldn’t voters in a free country speak up, perhaps by going to the seat of government and peacefully and patriotically letting their voices be heard?
A – Many did, and it was called an “insurrection.” Many of those protesters are still in jail awaiting their turn before a judge in a DC kangaroo court. Many others, seeing their lives destroyed by the leftist government, pleaded guilty to fraudulent charges just to make it go away.
Q – If there was election fraud, wouldn’t state governments want to find out?
A – Now, we’re getting somewhere. As Breitbart reports, in April 2019, Gov. Brian Kemp entered a consent decree that made checking signatures on absentee ballots almost impossible. Then in 2020 due to concerns about the COVID-19 virus, polls were overwhelmed with absentee ballots, and signature matching was haphazard at best.
The lead attorney for this consent decree was Marc Elias. If his name sounds familiar, it should. Elias is the same attorney who had Fusion GPS create the “Russia dossier” that began the Russia collusion hoax.
In fairness, the decree originated before the Covid-19 virus plandemic, but as Rahm Immanuel said, “Never let a crisis go to waste.” Kemp unadvisedly entered the decree with his eyes shut. The leftists then took full advantage of the decree to steal the election in GA.
This is what happens when Republicans “compromise” with the left. Republicans would be wise to consider the left enemies and never compromise with them.
Because of his involvement, Gov. Kemp was unwilling to investigate election fraud, but that didn’t stop the GA Senate from investigating.
The Election Law Study Subcommittee of the Standing Senate Judiciary Committee, had hearings on Dec. 3, 2020, to investigate the elections. They released a 15-page Final Report on Dec. 17, 2020. Look at the date. This was before the elections were certified on Jan. 6, 2021. That Final Report can be found here.
Two important findings of the Final Report are:
II. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The November 3, 2020 General Election (the “Election”) was chaotic and any reported results must be viewed as untrustworthy.
and:
V. FINDINGS
9- The oral testimonies of witnesses on December 3, 2020, and subsequently, the written testimonies submitted by many others, provide ample evidence that the 2020 Georgia General Election was so compromised by systemic irregularities and voter fraud that it should not be certified.
I must ask, why Governor Kemp, the GA Secretary of State, Brad Raffensperger, and GA Attorney General, Chris Carr moved forward with plans to certify the elections, despite the Committee findings? Why have they never ordered a full investigation? And will the same thing happen in 2024?
Concerns were raised about the Dominion Voting machines used in GA, but they have no plans to replace the old machines until after the 2024 elections. What other steps have they not taken to be certain our GA elections are free and fair?
Part of Fulton County DA, Fani Willis’s indictment of Donald Trump, et al. concerned his Jan 2, 2021, phone call to SOS Raffensperger, asking him, Raffensperger to verify the integrity of his election with a recount before it was certified.
It seems like a recount would have been in order, especially after the findings of the GA Senate Committee. Instead, of a recount, they are trying to put Trump in prison. That sounds like something another tyrant, such as Saddam Hussein might have done.
Biden barely campaigned, and when he did, he couldn’t draw a crowd. There are serious indications that the GA election was fraudulent. The 2020 elections were never adjudicated. The GA Senate Committee agreed that the election was fraudulent and should be decertified. And the Republican Party is sitting on their hands.
If this present system will allow our nation to burn, simply to keep President Trump from being reelected, I will certainly vote for him again.
